Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Sustainability Office Coordinatorship organized a Sustainability Workshop on April 30, 2024 in order to raise awareness on sustainability and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to take steps towards a greener future on campus. The workshop was attended by our rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt ERENOĞLU, Sustainability Office Coordinator Prof. Dr. Nilgün AYMAN ÖZ, Sustainability Office Coordinatorship Commission Member Prof. Dr. Levent GENÇ, Deputy Secretary General İsmail CEYLAN, Sustainability Office Vice Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Elçin BAYRAKTAR KÖSE, and 25 students from 12 different programs. The students selected a building on campus, evaluated the life in it together with its surroundings in line with the SDGs, and prepared a joint report to be submitted to the Rectorate by adding their suggestions for improvement.

We would also like to express our gratitude to the Mehmet Akif Ersoy Youth Center affiliated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, located on the Terzioğlu Campus of our University, which provided a workshop environment for the organization.
